I suggest you have one box like an ARCHIVE BOX that I would label as the “mobile office”. This is the box to keep important documents, spare house and car keys, financial papers, pet records, medical devices and any medicine. Essentially this is the ‘go to box’ when something important arises, the last thing you want to occur is wondering where the heck did I pack that. Now keep this box in the car with you before you start and during your move into storage – do not let it get involved with any other boxes. Trust me when an emergency or something important arises, you will be glad those important items are quick and handy to find. Only when everything is moved into your storage unit do you place this last box into your unit – that way while in storage you always have peace of mind that if you need them, you know this box is easy to locate.
